Everyone has an estate plan. It just may not be the one you want.

Even without any estate planning, everyone has a plan; the laws of your state dictate what will happen. Those laws are interpreted by the courts, and a court determines who inherits your property. A court determines who will raise your children to adulthood. And a court may determine who will act on your behalf in the event you become incapacitated.

Think about this for a moment. . . . Wouldn’t you rather make those decisions yourself? By being proactive with your planning, you are the one who secures your family’s future. You will have peace of mind knowing you’ve taken care of the people you love most. You will determine who receives your property, who will raise your children, if necessary, and who will make decisions for you in case you can’t.

Generally speaking, people don’t want to think about these issues. As a result, most people don’t consider their estate planning until it is too late. But without acting, you may be left with unnecessary court involvement which not only consumes your assets, but can produce results that are far from what you intended. A current estate plan protects you from these uncertainties and potentially irreparable consequences.

Don’t let that happen to your family. With proper planning, you’ll have confidence your intentions will be carried out. I’m here to help you with that.
